The third in the series of limited-edition boxed sets of Motown singles is scheduled for release October 21. All 14 tracks will be making their first appearance in the U.K. on 7-inch vinyl format. Marvin Gaye, The Marvelettes, The Four Tops, David Ruffin and Barbara Randolph are among the artists featured.

The Motown 7s Box has been compiled by renowned British DJ and broadcaster Richard Searling, who has a weekly show on BBC Radio Manchester, spinning dance-orientated Motown and “Northern Soul” tracks.

An exclusive in the set is “Show Me The Way” by J.J. Barnes, a previously unreleased, dancefloor-filler from the Motown vaults. Other in-demand tracks have been available in the past only on albums or CD compilations.

Marvin Gaye’s rare version of “It’s Not Unusual” is on the set, coupled with his duet with Tammi Terrell, “We’ll Be Satisfied.” Also rare is Jimmy Ruffin’s interpretation of the 1965 Dobie Gray hit, “The ‘In’ Crowd,” which is coupled on vinyl with Gladys Knight & The Pips’ “The Stranger.”

Previous vinyl sets in the series, also compiled by Searling, were released in 2013 and 2014.
