Stevie Wonder has been confirmed as the final headliner of British Summer Time Hyde Park 2019.

The music legend, who last played the event three years ago, will be joined by special guest Lionel Richie for The Stevie Wonder Song Party: A Celebration of Life, Love & Music on Saturday, July 6. Tickets will go on sale from 9AM from Friday, 29 March, starting at £69.95 for general admission.

Other BST headliners for 2019 are: Celine Dion (July 5), Barbra Streisand (July 7), and Florence + The Machine/The National (July 13) and Robbie Williams (July 14).

Jim King, SVP of promoter AEG Presents, said: “There are headliners, great headliners, line ups, stellar lineups and a thousand other adjectives we use but we will never find the one that correctly describes what will be happening in Hyde Park on Saturday, July 6. Stevie Wonder is singing his biggest hits for his very own ‘Song Party’ and for good measure, and to our mutual amazement, joy and wonder, he is also bringing his good friend Lionel Richie.”

Smokey Robinson and Diana Ross are also among the Classic Motown superstars who have previously performed in London’s Hyde Park.
